Here comes Yahoo's own Web browser -- Axis
I’m trying out the chrome extension and it’s surprisingly good. The only part of my work flow it doesn’t improve, is that I have to use the mouse. I’m used to simply launching a new tab with ctrl-T, and typing in my search term.
It may not be right for everyone, but it’s clearly a well thought-out piece of software that will help yahoo get back into the search game, and also the bookmarking game.
The bookmarking and read it later type services haven’t been discussed much but a great value add. They provide everything you need to track and handle your favorite online media. I will have to use it more to provide a decent review though.

Since Instagram sold for a berzillion million dollars, I expect to see a ton of social media apps trying to find their pay-day as well. Most will fizzle, leaving a graveyard of apps and user accounts. A few will bring something great to the party.
Can’t wait to see what they are… Oh right, this app ‘hmmmm’ I think it describes itself well.
A new iOS app called Hmmm lets you dial in on exactly what you’re doing, and feeling at the time. Its status updates aren’t an open box, it actually wants you to think about everything going on around you. In that way, it’s a bit of a miniature version of Path. Facebook Shares Plunge Again at Open
These greatly confirms my suspicions that the majority of the pundits and analysts, in the tech industry, don’t actually have that much expertise. They seem to be driving sensationalism and page views instead of journalism.
“Thomson Reuters Starmine, meanwhile, using expected growth rates of about 10.8 percent over the next decade, values the shares at $9.59, or less than one-third of its current price.”
Seems like someone could have presented this share value before the IPO…

Google Chrome The Web's Most Used Browser

I kind of feel sorry for Firefox, those Mozilla guys try pretty hard. The people have voted, with their web activity, and made it clear what they want.
A Light UI, great responsiveness, great compatibility, and a solution that just works. Sounds like the rest of the software industry right now…

Unreal Development Kit is Free to Start

Using the Unreal Development Kit is free until you make $50,000 or more, then you have to give Unreal a cut.
This is a tremendous program which reduces the barriers to entry for new and independent game makers.
I’m not sure why didn’t know about it already.
